I have trained, and supervised, counsellors and therapists since 1993. I was a primary trainer on counselling courses (Centre for Personal and Professional Development & Bromley College) and as a visiting lecturer on psychotherapy training courses (Whittington Hospital School of Psychotherapy and Hungarian Gestalt Association in Budapest).
I provide short training events on various aspects of working with people who misuse drugs and alcohol.
This includes:- Drug and Alcohol Awareness, Harm Reduction Approach, Motivational Interviewing, Working with people who are Dually Diagnosed.
I also offer workshops in other counselling-related concepts and skills.
I was a core trainer for Central Training for five years and a freelance trainer to organisations working with substance misusers, including MIND, Turning Point, the Richmond Fellowship and the West London Mission. I have also delivered a series of Preventing & Managing Stress workshops for the statutory sector.
I am a Director of, and on the Teaching Faculty, at the Centre for Systemic Constellations (Formerly CSISS). The Centre develops and runs training, seminars and workshops in systemic constellations. Further details can be found at Centre for Systemic Constellations.
